Beyond the beautiful views, the Karkonosze Mountains offer numerous tourist attractions. With guests discovering the charm of Karpacz and its surroundings in mind, we have prepared a guide to the most interesting attractions near Wiśniowa Polana.

  • Karkonosze National Park - with rich fauna and flora and beautiful landscapes.

  • Karpacz — A mountain town located at the foot of Śnieżka, full of restaurants, shops, and attractions for the whole family.
     

  • Śnieżka - the highest peak of the Karkonosze Mountains on the Polish-Czech border.
     

  • Kamieńczyk Waterfall - a waterfall in a picturesque area.
     

  • Museum of Sport and Tourism - with an exhibition devoted to the history of sport and tourism in the Giant Mountains.
     

  • Wang Temple - Built in the 12th century in Norway, later moved to Poland. It is distinguished by its special architecture. Its construction was made without the use of nails. Considered the oldest wooden church in Poland.
     

  • Chojnik Castle - a 14th century castle with beautiful views of the surroundings. 
     

  • Sztolnie Kowary - an underground tourist route in a uranium mine
    with interesting exhibits and history of the region.

     

  • Szklarska Poręba - a charming town with attractions such as the Mineralogical Museum, the Szklarki waterfall, or Carl's House
    and Gerhart Hauptmann
